Developing a PROFIBUS DP slave device will not be cumbersome or tedious if some simple principles are followed. Stefan Ruebesam will present the basic implementation concepts along with the dos and don’ts for a swift and smooth PROFIBUS slave integration. Compared to off-the-shelf solutions the integration of the PROFIBUS interface directly into the target application will require less space and achieve better performance and significant cost savings.
