In 2007 Jörg Freitag was elected in the board of directors of PNO (PROFIBUS User Organization), the Regional PI Association (RPA) in Germany. Beginning of 2008 he was elected also in the board of directors of PI (PROFIBUS & PROFINET International). 

For more than 10 years Jörg Freitag has been gathering experience in different areas of Siemens, and has extensive knowledge about automation technology and industrial communication. His close cooperation with Edgar Küster for many years enabled him to get a deep insight into PROFIBUS and PROFINET.

Jörg Freitag先生于2007年当选为德国PROFIBUS用户组织董事会成员，2008年被选为PI董事会成员。
十几年来, Jörg Freitag先生在西门子公司不同部门的工作中积累了丰富经验，具有自动化技术和工业通讯的广泛知识。与Kueser先生多年来的密切合作使得他对PROFIBUS和PROFINET技术有了深入的了解。
