Redundant PROFIBUS DP configurations are successfully operated in many factory- and process automation plants for years. Now PROFIBUS PA supports redundancy as well. Bjoern Moeller will provide an overview of this new feature and the benefits. Redundant PROFIBUS PA prevents unscheduled plant downtimes and saves costs and space compared to conventional technology for high available applications.
